The Triumph Award continues to grow from year to year and the support of the community is always needed to continue to provide scholarships to these outstanding youth.

LOVELAND CLASSIC RACE
On Saturday, July 26^th Centerra Shine is presenting the 2008 Loveland Classic 5K/10K Road Run, benefiting the Realities For Children Triumph Awards Scholarship Endowment Fund and the Thompson Valley Preschool. Race day registration begins at 6:00am at the Rangeview Office Complex, 2725 Rocky Mountain Avenue in Loveland. The races will start promptly at 7am. The pre-registration entry fee is $20 per runner or $25 event day. Each race participant will receive a runner pack and t-shirt. Proceeds from the contest benefit the Realities For Children Triumph Awards.  Norlarco Credit Union Midsummer Family Festival Fort Collins, CO 2503 Research Blvd. 970.416.5000 July 14, 2007 On Saturday, July 14 2007 Norlarco Credit Union along with Liberty Mutual Insurance hosted their 1st annual Midsummer Family Festival at the Corporate Office 2545 Research Blvd. from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival showcased local area businesses, members and included food, fun fames and most of all, prizes to be won by all! Proceeds from this event will benefitted the Realities For Children Triumph Awards and Larimer County Food Bank. Larimer County Clerk & Recorder's Spirt Committee Fundraiser June 19, 2007 Fort Collins, CO Throughout the month of April the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder's Office Spirit Committee held fundraisers to benefit the Realities For Children Triumph Awards and Emergency Fund. This group presented a $3,600 check to two Realities For Children non-profit funds, the Emergency Fund and the Triumph Awards Scholarship Endowment Fund in June. Throughout the month of April, where county employees donated used books, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes, burritos were sold and employees could wear jeans to work. Texas Land & Cattle Steak House V.I. P. Event Fort Collins, CO May 19, 2007 Texas Land & Cattle Steak House held a V.I.P. event to benefit the Realities For Children Triumph Award Scholarship Endowment Fund. The evening commenced with hors de oeuvres, live entertainment and hosted bar on Saturday, May 19, 2007. Nearly $1,000 in proceeds from the evening, were donated to the Realities For Children Triumph Awards Scholarship Endowment Fund.  Realities For Children Faces of Triumph Awards Banquet April 14, 2007 Fort Collins, CO Hilton F.C., 425 W. Prospect Road The Member Dinner is held annually in appreciation of all that the Members or Realities For Children do to serve the needs of abused and neglected children in our community. This special event honored Realities For Children Business Members, Child Protection Workers, Law Enforcement Providers and the children who have Triumphed over abuse! Four amazing youth were awarded $16,000 in collegiate grants!  Community Fundraising Support Private Gala Fort Collins, CO February 17, 2007 The Triumph Awards Endowment Gala was hosted at the home of Marcia and Jerry Donnan. Guests enjoyed: complimentary valet parking, hors d’ oeuvres and cocktails as well as live performances by Cheri Lamperes and Gary Dempsey. Todd Harding, of K99, acted as the Master of Ceremonies. Guests had the opportunity to learn more about the Triumph Awards and the amazing children they serve by listening to educational speeches from Craig Secher, President of Realities For Children, Ray Caraway, President of the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, Angela Mead, Deputy Division Manager of the Larimer County Child Protective Services and a triumphant, former child abuse survivor. Noodles & Company 648 S. College Avenue Fort Collins, CO 80524 On Sunday, February 11, 2007 Noodles & Company, 648 S. College Avenue, donated 50% of all sales between the hours of 5-9p.m. for a grand total of nearly $1,000 to the Realities For Children’s Triumph Awards Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Mountain Avenue Fort Collins, CO 80524 970.207.0100 On Tuesday, July 18, 2006 The Melting Pot hosted a special fundraising evening to benefit the Triumph Awards Endowment Fund. This evening included: a cheese course of fiesta cheddar, salad, entree of teriyaki sirlion, black tiger shrimp, breast of chicken, portobello mushrooms, gorganzola spinach ravioli and duck. That was followed by dessert of dark chocolate fondue with raspberry campbord. The requested donation for this amazing cuisine was $60 per couple.

“Cruisin’ for a Cause”

Realities For Children was excited to partner with Cruise Planners, Inc. for “Cruisin’ for a Cause.” This 5-Day Eastern Caribbean getaway set sail on January 15 and docked on January 20th. Not only were entertainment and sunny beaches abundant, a portion of the proceeds were donated to Realities For Children’s Emergency Fund, which provides support and assistance to abused and neglected children. Thank you to Cruise Planners and the individuals that made this trip a success!
